to learn more. The scientific information is well explained. The author, Paul Stamets, is working with researchers on how mushrooms can address TB. Black and white as well as glossy color photos compliment the text.
I've just begun reading this book. Dr. You may want to look at the web site: [.]. I've read the first 3 chapters of the third edition.
The table of contents, bibliography, and photo/illustration credits are well organized and clear. Scott Fanzblau, I believe, is the head of lab for this research. I am enjoying it because it is clearly written. The explanations are illustrated when appropriate.
Shouldn't authors be more specific to their detail in pictures especially when there so many poisonous mushrooms out there in the wild. There's a lot of pictures inside the book but the disappointing thing is they all 90% in black & white which keeps you guessing to what the mushrooms actually look like in colour.
It came when promised, and it was a new book, in great condition. I'm satisfied totally with my shopping experience for this book.
I am enjoying it very much. A very informative book that is well written and understandable for a layman with no scientific background.
This book has an enormous amount of information and I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning how to grow mushrooms.
